Life In Sosua: Getting A Nice Massage in Sosua, Dominican Republic

The price of a massage can vary depending on where you go in Sosua. When I stayed at The Waterfront  which was right above Playa Alicia there were three different massage parlors all on the same street and all had different prices.

The first massage parlor on Dr. Rosen street which leads right into Playa Alicia charged 500 pesos for thirty minutes and 1,000 pesos for the hour.

I can't remember the name of the place, but it's impossible to miss, because usually as you walk by the ladies will be sitting outside on some plastic chairs and will call out to you asking if you want a massage.

Overall I liked that spot because the ladies there were pretty nice, the massages were decent and almost all of them were open to different requests.

I stopped going there for a little bit, because one of the older ladies there wanted me to just get a massage from her which is not what I had in mind.

The second massage parlor on Dr. Rosen was my favorite. In reality the place looked very much like the first massage parlor, but the difference was simply Rosa.

I made two or three videos with her and you can clearly see just from the videos that she has a great personality and is also very attractive.

What you can't see from the videos is that she has hands of gold. I never had to tell her that she was applying too much pressure or too little pressure. She always had a great touch.

I know some may not attribute hard working personality with a masseuse, but she definitely was. I remember one time the electricity went out so the fan was not functioning  and we had just started the massage. She continued going and after a full body massage (which costed 2,000 pesos)  she was really drenched with sweat like she had just come out of the pool. But she was still all smiles at the end.

Overall Rosa was the best masseuse I had visited while I was in Sosua.

Finally there was a third massage parlor that was the closest to the beach, but I never went to it, because the ladies there for some reason weren't as nice or friendly with me as the first two.

But I do remember hearing that their prices were a little bit more expensive than the other two previously mentioned.

Most of my massage experience came from the massage parlors on Dr. Rosen street, but I also got a massage on Sosua beach and at one of the parlors on the road leading up to Sosua Beach.

For me it wasn't really that great. I remember one of the girls grinded her elbow into my back. Sometimes it's very clear that some of the ladies never went to a massage school or got some training before getting into the job.

But overall getting a massage in Sosua is a fun , relaxing and more importantly a stress relieving experience.
