The Top Three Female Youtubers in the Dominican Republic

In this video I will give a short backstory to each Youtuber, explain what I find special about their channel and reveal them in order of the one I like most.

Beginning this subjective list is Madefromenergy , whose actual name is Shony. She is an American from Alabama and her astrology sign is a Leo. She has been doing travel videos since October of 2018 and has done overseas vlogging in  Mexico and the Dominican Republic. One interesting fact about her is that she claims Korean as her third language.

Her channel is inspiring because even though she is American she often speaks in Spanish in many of her videos. For me it’s cool to see another African American practicing spanish in such a public way even though she admits that her Spanish isn’t perfect.

Up next is Cerise Fairfax of the self titled Youtube channel Cerise Fairfax. She is Canadian and has begun her Youtube channel nearly 11 years ago mostly focusing on videos about thespians and life coaching. She uploaded her fist video about the Dominincan Republic on May 26, 2018, with Mr. Flip Flop.

Even though there is an age gap between her and I,  I find that it is easy to connect to her content because she humanizes what many would consider a very sexualized Sosua. Many vloggers talk about prostitution in Sosua and then move on to another subject matter. But Cerise really shows more than just the women , but  the everyday life of Sosua and how locals live and operate.

Now  the queen of this list is Norberis. She is a Dominicana from the Santo Domingo area. She embarked on her Youtube journey in August of 2018 and 199 videos later she has already reached an impressive subscriber count of 12.5k. One interesting fact about her is that she came to the United State in 2007 with a work visa and now has U.S citizenship.

I really enjoy her channel because her videos are diverse. She talks about not only dominican culture, but fashion, home decor, language teaching, food and so much more. Also I really like her because online you can see many videos objectifying Dominican women, but I like how she has a balanced display of her beauty and sexiness, but also her intelligence and business acumen.
